I want to renounce my citizensship and go to japan and get theres. I have 2 questions. 1. How do i do it 2. Do you think they will accept me or will they be rude and nasty

LOL please just leave America. Japan will take you. With their population getting older and the lack of young people there, your chances are great. What are your skills? Plus the Japanese women are nice. Good choice of country since your leaving USA.

first of all you have to defect in Japan not in your own country

You would first need to get your citzenship with Japan first. Its a pain, but not impossible. Yes, getting married does help the process, but you can bypass that through conventional imigration processes. The best way to obtain that information is through the Japanese Embassy in D.C. Once you have citizenship through Japan, you can then renouce your American citizenship. Good Luck. Oh, and as for them accepting you or being rude. Depends on how you act. If you have blonde hair and/or blue eyes, you will definitely be a hit with the ladies. Which isn t all that bad. They are a great people, as I spent two years of my life over there.

The way I understand it, the Japanese are not overt or brutal in thier racism. You re unlikely to be dragged behind a car over 20 miles of dirt road, or hanged for sleeping with a japanese girl. But, you will always be gaijin and will never be accepted. If you can pass for japanese, it s different. There are lots of japanese in japan who are actually of korean or chinese ancestry - they just keep quiet about it.

Theirs is a very close knit civilization. You might not be accepted. While you might get work teaching English, which is very desirable by them, acceptance is an altogether different story. Contact their Embassy in Washington and talk to them, they would know best. Personally, good riddance. You might, however, find that what they do, or allow to be less tolerable than the worst that you want to be rid of here in America. One point to remember, in their country, you are guilty until proven innocent. If you give the police any problems, they can beat you to a bloody pulp, and the court won t even bat an eye lash about it. Your ways, your ideas of civilization will be foreign to them, and most likely reprehensible to them. You may be tolerated for awhile, but then if you don t live as they do, ostracized by them. Taxes are very high, cost of living is even worse. Your desire to leave makes no difference to anyone here. It is of zero interest, you may find, however, that the best place you ever lived in was where you just renounced your citizenship from. Will they be rude, or nasty, in their own way, more than likely.
