Several years ago Japan banned magic mushrooms. Are the mushroom spores themselves also illegal to possess? -

In many countries Psilocybin containing mushrooms are illegal, whereas the spores of such mushrooms are not restricted by law as they contain no Psilocybin. Is this also the case in Japan?
