How can I install Japanese characters on my computer or translate email from Japan? -

Email I recieve from Japan shows as a collection of characters. Example: ??￡3?ü?￠?áá°￡??t￡2￡·ê? How/where can I get Japanese characters so I can translate to English? Can I translate without installing the Japanese characters?

Get the language pack

when you first get the computer or whatever you were asked to choose the languages you want on your computer and they had a list and you installed them onto your computer... you might be able to go to settings and install more languages though right now...
