You can check the rate on this page. http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/charge/... It depends on many factors such as weight, size, air or sea and so on. You can write the address just as you do from US. Just add quot;USAquot; at the end of the address.
Postal rates for international letters depends on the size and weight of the letter. Standard size and weight: 25g = 110 Y 50g = 190 Y Here is how you write the address if it is to a person (Name of addressee) (Street Name) (City, State, Zip Code) (Country) Example: Jenny Smith 123 North Elm Street San Francisco, CA 94101 U.S.A. Notes: Make sure the zip code is correct. An incorrect zip code can make the post office lose the letter. We have counties (akin to prefectures) in the States but do not reference them on addresses. We commonly abbreviate state names so California is shortened to CA. It is not required, but it is more convenient. A list of state abbreviations: http://www.usps.com/ncsc/lookups/usps_ab...
check with your postal services for postage due, according to weight. the addressing of us postal delivery is:.. name or company name, under that the street address eg: (123 washington ave, or suite 123 washington ave, or post box# 123 washington ave,) below this: the city, state and zip code, eg: (chattanooga,tn. 34741.... if you need a zip code number, do a google search for zip code directory, go to the state and city or town. if in doubt, search the u.s. postal zip code directory for the street and city you are useing, also add u.s.a. under the address for country of destination., be sure the address is centered on the front of the envelope and your return address is in the upper left hand corner same side . you can save money on airmail letters by useing light weight onionskin paper to keep the weght to a minimum. the last i knew it may take 3-5 days to arrive. there are different airmail services available with different prices.
Just write the address as you normally would, add U.S.A. or United States of America. Go to the post office, say you want to mail it to the USA, they will weigh it for you (you don t have to do that yourself) and they will tell you how much it will be. Pretty easy.
just go to the post office and struggle a bit with the officer. you be able to send it fairly easy.
