Generally you want to look for a maiko henshin studio. There are lots of different ones, though not all do samurai dress-up. The only one I ve found in Tokyo is Studio Mon Katsura, which does a whole bunch of different dress-up things, including maiko, geisha, oiran, samurai, bride, specific characters, and even just general kimono dressing. See their English website here: http://www.henshin-maiko.com/en_index.ht... You ll probably have better luck finding greater variety in Kyoto. Yumekoubou (http://www.yumekoubou.info/english/index... ) does maiko and geisha but not samurai. Studio Aya (English website here: http://kyoto-maiko.com/English/index.htm... ) and Studio Maica (http://www.maica.net/e/price.htm ) are similar. Studio Shiki offers maiko, geisha, and samurai plans (http://www.maiko-henshin.com/english/ ). There are several other studios as well, but many of them don t have English websites.
