How long, on average, would it take for a parcel from Japan to arrive in the UK? -

My sister, who is in Japan at the moment, is sending me a bundle of Vivienne Westwood scarves in the post. She s sending it tomorrow- does anyone know how long it would take for the parcel from Japan to arrive at my home in England? I m hoping it wouldn t take too long, because i d like to have them before I go back to university in 9 days- but my boyfriend says it ll take much longer than that. Is he right?

Depending on how she is sending it, it can take from 5 days to 6 weeks. If it s by airmail it usually doesn t take that long. I bought a Rubik s cube on eBay from Japan and it only took 6 days to arrive by airmail.

I sent a 10kg box from Japan NOT by airmail and it took about 5 or 6 weeks. if its not by airmail it ll take about the same as mine.
