How long does it take to fly from America to Japan? -

Hi, does anyone know how long it takes to fly from America to Japan? Or vice versa? Thanks!

It took me 16 hours, but I am from the East Coast. If you are from the West Coast, then it will take less time.

DALLAS (DFW) straight to NARITA (TOKYO) 11 hours,,,vice versa 13 hours!

From East (NY/NJ) it takes 12 or 13 hours to Tokyo(Narita). From West it is less 3 or 4 hours than East?

11 and a half hours from LAX

Depends from where. From LAX to Tokyo Narita it takes about 11 1/4 hours. On the way back it only takes 9 1/4 hours. It s the winds. Bring comfy shoes, because you re feet swell up a bit. Yes, I know, it s weird.

I flew from Atlanta to South Korea to Osaka. It took me almost 18 hours including all the layovers.

From Washington state it takes about 10 hours to Tokyo! Bring shoes you can slip off and stand up if you get a chance b/c your ankles might swell from sitting so long!!

I think my flight from LA to Tokyo was about 10-11 hours.
