How could Germany and Japan have been allies in WW2 if Hitler was so racist against non-indo germanic people? -

I was just wondering because after all, Hitler wasn t exactly the primal authourity on equality amongst the races of the world; so how was he able to have Japan on his side....was it out of necessity?

Well... Several factors came into play. a) Birds of a feather flock together, and both Germany and Japan were violently supremacist about their respective cultures vs that of their neighbors. If we think alike, we can be friends. b) Hitler certainly believed the yellow to be inferior to the white, but Japan and Germany were half a world away from each other, and did not compete for living space. If their respective empires had come to rub against each other, that alliance would likely have gone south in a hurry. c) the enemy of my enemy... is a realpolitik principle that can do wonders.

quot;the enemy of my enemy is my friendquot; They really just had the common enemies. They didn t do any kind of pacts or meetings until the tide turned towards the Allied side.

japan wast on hitlers side they were just against america kuz they attacked pearl harbor witch the president let happen so that america would want to join the quot;worldquot; war the nazis and japan never faught togetther just america faught both of them i hop you read this peace i hope it helped o and if they were team hitler would just kill japan kuz he wanted world domination PEACE OUT

Their style of governments were both against True democracy I believe they would ve gone to war eventually

Hitler believed in the Japanese ability to fight wars. It is said that on the day Germany and Japan became allies he said quot;Gentlemen we cannot lose now, for on our side is an empire that has not lost a war in 3000 years of history.quot; Yes Hitler was racist, mainly against the Jews. He was not however, stupid. He understood that he needed a powerful ally to distract the U.S. and Britain. His master race was intended for Europe s sphere of influence. I have no doubt that had Germany and Japan won the war, Hitler would have eventually turned against the Japanese, but for the time being, they were great allies and both reaped the benefits.

Greetings! Germany partnered with Japan because of the military maneuvering Japan was doing prior to Pearl Harbor. Hitler s theory was that if he could ally with the power who had absolute control of the Pacific Ocean, it would tie up the American and British power so he can completely accomplish his conquest of Europe, then later the world. Hitler had contempt for any non-German nation. The rationale was that the Nazis could take on the empire of Japan after his global domination had finished. It didn t quite work out that way, most fortunately. Hope that helps. Take care.

People form positions based on their interests. Churchill once said, quot;we have no permanent allies, we have only permanent interests.quot; Presumably those interests were the preservation and prosperity of the people and the state.
