Is it good to start an Arabian restaurant in Japan? -

I am going to Japan and I want to start an Arabian restuarnt there, is this a good idea? the restaurant will serve food that is not commonly found in Japan or all around the world. It also serves a light menu and kids menu with very tasty and the best food around there. Most of the food is from the Arabian hertige and the Arabian Gulf. What are the requirments for starting a restaurant in Japan ?

To start a restaurant from the very beginning is too much for you. There are so many governmental, municipal, and legal requirements. For a first timer, it is almost impossible to clear them. Less impossible way is to search quot;restaurant for salequot; and convert present restaurant into yours. Two more things you have to note, 1. Price is awfully expensive in Japan. You must have enough fund to start with 2. To get a work permit is terribly difficult. Well, in short, unless you have a good partner in Japan who takes care of legal matters, labor, real estate, market research, etc, it is almost impossible. Even McDonald s could not do it by themselves.

I personally don t think it s a great idea...but maybe you know something I don t. Good luck either way.
