How easy is it to get a job in Japan as a english teacher ? -

Im thinking of moving to Japan, I heard there are opportunities as a english teacher there, english is my first language and im degree educated in a non relevant subject, how easy would it be to get a job there ?

Finding a job as an English teacher in Japan is fairly easy, finding a GOOD job however is not going to be easy. In the last few years a number of English schools have gone bankrupt causing other schools to hire less and less. Now is not exactly a good time to come to Japan, but still its worth a try. It also depends on your nationality. If your an American, its better to get hired while your still in America by a company that will prepare your visa documents. Remember, you need to find a company that will sponsor you (means they will guarantee you a job and a salary).
