Simply ask your school counselor about exchange programs, and there will probably be some free ones.
i know a program that cost 3000 dollars, that s the cheapest ever. and it only lasts a month. the bad thing is, you have to listen to where they put you, and the hotels they put you in are crap and full of people who would probably rape you. so i would vote against going there. unless you are very desperate.
well there are quite a few programs, but most are upwards of 10,000$ (mine cost 8000$) i suggest you go to you re school guidance councellor and ask them about it, they usually keep some information on hand (note:only high school students are ever eligible for any of them)
I hope and pray that you have researched into the actual culture that is Japan - the Japanese are a very reserved people that cannot just except you like that. To your advantage, before you think of going to an exchange program, you should learn a little of the lanugage, culture, areas, etc. so it won t seem as if you just staggered in the country because you like so-and-so.
