How do I bring my Fiance (filipina) to japan to get married? -

I m stationed in Japan witht he US Navy. I know wat i must do with the Navy and the process of getting Married. I need to know what to do as far as getting a visa for my fiance so that we can get married here.

You can t bring her to Japan to get married. The Japanese will not issue a visa for that. You need to go to the Philippines and get married there. Once married in the Philippines you will go back to Japan, alone, and run a request chit up your chain of command requesting command sponsorship for your wife. If approved you ll most likely have to extend your tour in Japan. Once your wife has command sponsorship she can enter Japan with a SOFA stamp in her Philippine passport.
