How do I go about becoming a permanent Citizen in Japan? -

I live in America now but after college I plan on moving to Japan. What are the requirements?I know i can get a visa to live there for a set amount of time.I do not wish to do this though.Any help is very appreciated.

Japan has some of the strictest immigration laws in the world. There is practically no way you can ever get citizenship there. There are families which have lived in Japan for 2-3 generations and none of them can get citizenship. If you can get work authorization or something that will allow you to live there for a period of time, that is the best you can do.

Japan has VERY strict immigration laws. I think it will be nearly impossible to get citizenship. You might get a long time visa or a resident status. I suggest you contact the Japanese consulate nearest you. http://www.us.emb-japan.go.jp/jicc/consu...
