Affect the subway system? it IS the subway system. That system manages everything, and the way it s run makes Japan s subway/rail system one of (if not the) most accurate and precise subway systems on earth.
Are you talking about; a. computer that controls the subway network b. computer that is built into the train itself c. computer that controls the electric boards, announcements, and automatic doors at the subway station d. computer that is built into the ticketing systems e. or, usage of electronic device on subways? With regards to; a. ... no idea lol b. look up things like Automatic Train Control system c. i don t think there is anything special about this... d. look up turnstiles amp; smart cards (Suica for example) for subways in Japan e. usage of electronic devise does not affect the train, but it s banned. plus, cell phones wouldn t get a reception on subways
