How much does a good place to live cost in japan? -

Hello. I m thinking about going to study in Japan. I m trying to get as much information as I can. For those who have lived in Japan as foreign students, all I need to know is the price of a good place to live in Tokyo or Sendai with basic plublic utilities, bathroom and toilet; I don t need a kitchen. What about food? How much was your monthly expense in food? How much was your monthly expense, not regarding your tuition? Web sites and blogs don t give me enough information, just averages. I need real numbers based in your personal experience. Personal comments regarding other issues are welcome. Please, help me with this. Thanks to whoever answers this.

you don t want to know .... and probably more than you could afford. Tokyo is the most expensive cuty in the world ... I live in the second most expensive city and its between $800-2000 for a 1 bedroom apartment with a shower not a tub, its extra if you want a tub.... So I m roughly at $3000 a month give or take a few hundred dollars ... And this is without tuition.
