What is the least expensive way to travel to Japan? -

I wish to visit Japan within the next year.

Go in the off season and use JTB Travel Agency in Arlington Heights, IL. I just got round trip AA from Chicago to Tokyo for $569 (total) March 30th 2006. Update: It s $599 + tax amp; fuel surcharge today 5/13/06 Japan is very expensive i.e. Three (3) Domino s X-L Pizzas ran me $90.00 US in Tokyo SHeesh! A one hour cab ride is about $250.00 the bus is $30.00. Some tolls are $60.00 on roads. You can get by much cheaper but you ll have to do your homework and eat/sleep/travel generic.

Put yourself in a carton with a Japan return address, labeled, INSUFFICENT POSTAGE-- RETURN TO SENDER.

seriously, to fly. check around at all the different websites and airlines and you can find good deals sometimes. I ve paid anywhere from $500 to $1500 for a round trip ticket. It also depends the time of year you want to go.

The Trains have special tickets at certain times Otherwise overnight buses are cheaper

Walk, swim Lol. Japan is very very expensive.

Swimming.

you could walk

you could join the military and get stationed there. they will pay to send you!

try travelocity its pretty fair i think

keep applying for jobs in japan until someone sends you a ticket to come for an interview.

depends on where you are going from! Overland then getting a cheap asia flight or by sea from the mainland perhaps?

Just dream sitting in your home, but letting your free mind go to travel wherever you wish. For free. No lunch for free, even working as a English Teacher (or ALT) without working visa (or avilable for the working holiday limited), for very popular info illegally. Requried sincerity and respect out of your country even if temporary. You know, life indeed costs much. You would need to pay sacrifice somehow, time or money for example, if you got the worth to do. Otherwaise it would be fun if you created the less, the least way every day, every minute.
