Want to export my Vespa from Japan to Thailand, around how much will it cost me and who can do it? -

Has anyone ever moved a motorbike out of Japan? Couldn t sell it so I d like to try taking it out there. Any information apreciated Thanks.

I have never shipped a motorbike, but I know it s pretty complicated...you have to disconnect this and that, drain fluids, etc. I have a friend that shipped a motorcycle from Canada to Japan--that was pure folly, at least from a financial standpoint. (Esp when you consider that they have perfectly good motorcycles in Japan.) However a Vespa is smaller and if you re moving to Thailand. . .just to hazard a guess I d say you d pay 20 man yen? I used the following company to ship my household stuff. They were very reasonable.
