I am wondering how does a non-asian female become a model in japan? Like in Japan, does the media want a European girl for a model?

It s definitely possible. If you look at Japanese fashion magazines, ad campaigns, they are full of caucasian models. And in Tokyo Fashion Week, 95% of the models are non-Asian. The qualifications are no different from those in any other country - tall, thin, striking face. It will be easier to become a model than here in the US, I think. But it is not that any European looks can be accepted. Perfect face, nice hair (not black) and should be required to be much skinnier than so-called skinny Americans in the US.
