When will snowfall starts in Sapporo Japan? -

I m planning to go Sapporo Japan and wanted to feel the snow. Can anyone tell me when will the snowfall starts as I can t go after mid of December.

I live in Sapporo, and usually the first snow of the season comes by the end of October, but it has not yet come this year. Maybe due to global worming? It s a little weird. If you can make it in early December rather than in November, you should be able to experience the snow (which I don t appreciate at all...)

Snow begins to fall around January. There is an event at the beginning of February to welcome the cold and the frosted statues. For the most part February is the coldest month, but late December may occasionally see snow.

It will start snowing the day after tomorrow according to the weather forecast!
