How can i raise money for a flight to Japan? -

Me and my friend live in Louisiana,and we really want to go to japan with my Uncle.But we need to raise at least 6,000 dollars for hotel,flight,and things like that,and the flight is going to be this summer(may 25th to june 8)got any suggesions? thanks

$6000 by late may!? Well if you do the math and you and your friend EACH raise $100 a week, so $100 x 4 (weeks in a month) x 4 (months) = 1600 + 1600 (ur friend makes) that equals 3,200...so your gonna have to work and make at least 100 a week and have a yard sale, sell things on ebay, etc...I am planning to go to Japan next summer for a language program for 2 months with my best friend so we will have around 17months to raise the money which is better...you should try next summer so you will have enough spending money. How old are you guys...if your like 16 then join a language program and stay with a host family...check out this program that me and my friend are doing...we are doing the 8 week program that has excursions to Mt.Fuji, Tokyo disney world, Kyoto etc... and it s in a great location : )

get a job, sell your possessions online. offer other services like small-time jobs on the side also like baby sitting and yard work, whatever you can think of. donate plasma and/or blood for $$.

Cut down on UN NECESSARY EXPENSES Things like 1. Going to Concerts, 2. Going to the movies 3. Eating out at restaurants 4. Buying DVDs and CDS 5. Cut down on buying new clothing 6. Buy only necessary foods 7. If you smoke or drink try to cut down on how much you spend on these things. You need to cut down on these things to keep money in your bank accounts.
