Information on going to Japan for university? -

I m currently in high school in Ontario, Canada, and I m looking to go to University in Japan, but I have no idea how to go about doing this, although I know it s possible. Can anyone fill me in or offer suggestions for good Universities or, really anything. Thanks for your help.

You should start by taking the JLPT level 1. It is required to show that you have mastered the language. Then apply like a regular student and include at least three letters of recommendation from your teachers. If your japanese is not that good, go to a Canadian university with a study abroad program. This way you can still go to school in Japan for a year at your home university s tuition price. The benefit of a study abroad program is that you will get bigger living quarters and can take some classes in English.
