Old electric guitar with logo that looks like ags. anyone know the brand. made in japan? -

this guitar looks pretty old. the logo is ovalish with a black background. has silver lower case a, what looks to be a fancy g but not sure, and an s. the body is smaller than usual and the neck is steel reinforced and quite thick. made in japan. if anyone knows please let me know. i have been tryin to look it up with no luck.

AGS designates a semi hollow-body guitar manufactured by Ibanez.
