What is the best and cheapest time to fly to Japan, Osaka preferably? -

Nothing specific necessary, just wondering which time(s) of the year is best to fly to Japan.

I have been to Osaka many times from California. My fiance lives there and is from there (we met online). The best time to visit and the cheapest time to visit is in October/November. The weather is best at that time. Not too hot, like July/August, and not too cold, like December/January. You can get fare from United or JAL for less than $600 sometimes. Also, China Air, Air Canda, American and Northwest have good flight prices sometimes too from the US. If you check often and get on mailing lists, they will send you sale information and you can find the best times to buy tickets. It s worth the extra time. I have never paid over $900 for a ticket to Japan, even in peak time.

This is assuming you re coming from the States. October/November and February/March are the cheapet times. Best times to go in terms of weather are March/April and October/November. The high (expensive) seasons are mid-December, mid-June thru early September. (late April/early May going the other way around). Been to Japan 16 times (and live here now) and I ve flown at least once in each of the 12 months.
